Review, assess and recommend changes in accounting systems and controls of a business unit
Verify and inspect general ledger accounts for its accuracy
Check, inspect and reconcile bank accounts, cash books, and bank reconciliation statements
Inspect, test and assess, balance sheets and other related financial statements and records
Review and recommend changes in internal controls
Check and verify accounting books and records are in conformity with industry practices and corporate policies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and generally accepted auditing standards
Carry out other necessary audit procedures allocated to you
Assist in the preparation of final accounts for clients
File tax and other returns for clients
Assist in the accounting record of the firm and clients where necessary
Any other duties that may be assigned to you by the supervisor
A bachelors degree in Business, Accounting
Part qualification of ICAG or ACCA Certificate
A minimum of 3 years of relevant practical accounting experience
