Area of operation:Tamale with working visits to the organizations operational regions.
Reporting line relationships:
i. Reports directly to the Senior Human Resource Manager.
ii. Work closely with senior management team and staff to provide HR related support and guidance.
General Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of People & Culture and direct supervision of the Senior Human Resource Manager, the Human Resource Officer will be responsible for the coordination, maintaining and updating staff support services to staff and support in building a healthy and thriving organizational culture and climate. The Human Resource Officer will be backstopping to facilitate general HR activities in the organization.
The Human Resource Officer role is a vital position ensuring efficient human resource administration to promote high productivity and conducive workplace atmosphere to achieve organizational and business objectives.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities (modifications may be made at any time):
Coordinate all recruitment, selection and onboarding activities in a timely manner in collaboration with hiring manager and relevant teams
At least 3 years practical experience in a similar position in a reputable in a supervisory role.
Facilitate effective and seamless onboarding and offboarding activities in collaboration with relevant supervisors and departments.
Prepare HR monthly report, quarterly census report to HQ and related HR activity reports.
Compile, update and file all HR activity documents including staff records on HR google drive, hard copies in the cabinet to facilitate third party audit held in a confidential manner.
Process contractors service fees and stipends schedules and ensure timely payments to beneficiaries.
Coordinate all HR related procurement activities and relevant payments to vendors in collaboration with the Procurement and Operations Manager.
Facilitate quarterly HR activities and documentation audit.
Ensure that all HR policies, guidelines and procedures are duly complied with and documented including timesheet policy, leave policy etc.
Assist with the day-to-day operations of all human resource functions including clerical and administrative support.
Handle employee request on all HR issues, processes, and laid down regulations.
Support in the implementation of staff engagement and HR related interventions.
Support in strengthening and deepening strategic relationships with service providers.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Human Resource Manager & Director of People & Culture.
