• Responsible for the financial “health†of the company by producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Prepares asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analysing various accounting information
• Documents all financial transactions and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information: preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports
• Assist in maintenance of accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies & procedures
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing accounting information
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
• Prepares and makes all statutory payments
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
• Assist in internal and external auditor relationship
• A minimum of Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• A Masters degree or professional qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum of four (4) years experience in relevant role
